Essential Job Responsibilities/Skills:
Provide in-patient nursing care, perform medical treatments, perform in-hospital diagnostics, patient critical care & daily monitoring, place advanced IV catheters, administer IV fluids, TPN, or PPN.
Prioritizes daily patient treatments and communicates patient status with doctor(s) on duty. Must pay attention to detail and be a self-motivator. Proficient at anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring and recovery of patients. Present patient discharge instructions and client information packs and giving patient updates, medical demonstrations and education for hospitalized patients. Prepare prescriptions, dispense medications accurately and conduct medication refills with little to no supervision.
